Ingredients

- 250 g lean ground beef
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp finely grated carrot
Steps
- Simmer the beef and grated carrot in the water for 18 to 20 minutes.
- Drain off the fat, keeping the broth underneath.
- Mash the meat with the broth until soft and loose.
- Cool to room temperature before serving.
Substitutions
- Ground lamb in place of the beef.
