Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground lamb
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup oat flour
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the ingredients in a bowl until well combined. The mixture will be slightly sticky but should hold together.
- Roll out the lamb mixture in between two sheets of parchment paper and aim for a thickness of about ¼ inch (6 mm). This ensures the treats bake evenly and have a slightly firm but not too hard texture, making them easy for cats to chew.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the treats are firm and lightly browned.
- Allow to cool, then using either knife or pizza cutter, cut out small bite sized treats.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage.

- Use ground turkey or chicken instead of lamb
- Substitute rice flour for oat flour
