Ingredients

- 400 g ground lamb
- 2 tbsp plain pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup water
Steps
- Put the ground lamb and water in a small saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes, breaking the meat up as it cooks.
- Drain off the fat, keeping a little of the cooking liquid.
- Stir the pumpkin puree through with enough cooking liquid to make a moist, spoonable texture.
- Cool to room temperature before serving.
Substitutions
- Ground rabbit in place of the lamb if you can find it.
