Ingredients

Ingredients for Pork & Pumpkin Cat Pate
  • 400 g lean ground pork
  • 1/4 cup plain pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup water

Steps

  1. Simmer the pork in the water for 15 minutes, until cooked right through.
  2. Drain off the fat and let the meat cool slightly.
  3. Blend the pork with the pumpkin puree and a splash of the cooking liquid into a smooth pate.
  4. Cool fully before serving.

Substitutions

  • Plain mashed butternut squash in place of the pumpkin.
