Baked Peanut Butter Banana Dog Treats
A high-protein snack that combines creamy peanut butter with potassium-rich bananas. The addition of oats provides lasting energy.

Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix into a dough.
- Either spread the dough evenly onto the parchment lined baking sheet or roll out the dough in between two sheets of parchment paper and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter. Alternatively, you can form shapes with small amounts of the dough with your hands.
- Bake for 30 minutes until firm and golden.
- If you have spread the dough out onto the parchment paper and baked flat, cut it into squares with a pizza cutter or knife.
- Allow to cool before giving out a treat.
Substitutions
- Use almond butter instead of peanut butter
- Swap rice flour for whole wheat flour
- Use pumpkin instead of banana
