Banana Sardine Dog Biscuits
Sardines provide essential omega-3 fatty acids in these crunchy, turmeric-infused biscuits. The banana helps balance the strong aroma of the fish.

Ingredients

- 1 banana, ripe
- 84 grams tinned sardines in water, no added salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F degrees. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the banana with a fork.
- Add the egg and keep mashing.
- Drain the sardines and add to the bowl. Mash well.
- Add the rice flour and turmeric and mix into a dough. If the mixture is too dry add a few tablespoons of water.
- Roll the dough out in between two layers of parchment paper to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Use a cookie cutter or knife to cut the dough into shapes.
- Place the biscuits on the baking tray.
- Bake for 15 minutes, turn the biscuits over and bake for about 15 minutes until firm.
- Let the biscuits cool completely before serving to your dog.
Substitutions
- Use canned salmon instead of sardines
- Replace turmeric with chopped parsley
- Substitute rice flour with oat flour
