Ingredients

Ingredients for Cheese Broccoli Dog Treats
  • 1 cup cooked broccoli, chopped finally
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 large egg
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked, chopped broccoli, grated cheddar cheese, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  3. Add the coconut flour gradually, mixing until a thick dough forms. Let the dough sit for 5 minutes, coconut flour absorbs moisture and will thicken as it rests.
  4. Roll out the dough between two layers of parchment paper and cut out using cookie or decorative shapes.
  5. Place the cut out shapes on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the treats are firm and lightly golden.
  7. Cool completely before serving to your pup.

Substitutions

  • Swap broccoli for finely chopped cauliflower.
  • Use parmesan instead of cheddar.
  • Almond flour can replace coconut flour.
