Cranberry Sweet Potato Treats for Dogs

Ingredients
- 1 cup sweet potato puree
- 1/4 cup cranberries, dried (unsweetened) or fresh
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 large egg
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and form a dough. If it is too dry, add water, too wet, more flour.
- Roll out between two layers of parchment paper to about 1/4 inch thick and cut into fun shapes with cookie cutters, or simply shape the dough into small balls or patties for a quick option.
- Place the shapes onto a the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until firm and golden.
- Allow to cool before giving as a treat.
Substitutions
- Use pumpkin instead of sweet potato
- Replace rice flour with oat flour
- Swap turmeric for ginger
