Ingredients

Ingredients for Ginger Dog Biscuits
  • 2 cups rice flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl add the rice flour, cinnamon and ginger. Mix well.
  3. Add the egg and coconut oil. Mix together and bind into a dough with the water.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness. You can use cookie cutters to create fun shapes for your dog's biscuits.
  5. Place the cut-out biscuits onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until they are golden brown and crisp. Turn the cookies over half way through cooking.
  6. Once baked, remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack. Make sure they are completely cool before giving them to your dog.

Substitutions

  • Use oat flour instead of rice flour
  • Replace coconut oil with melted butter
