Ingredients

- 1 lb goat meat (lean or trimmed stew cuts)
- 1 cup sweet potato, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup zucchini, chopped
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or olive oil/flaxseed oil
- 1 large egg, including the shell
- 1/4 teaspoon kelp powder
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, add a dash of black pepper
- 2 cups water
Steps
- In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat. Add goat meat and cook until browned.
- Add diced sweet potatoes, zucchini, turmeric and ginger. Stir to combine.
- Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes until veggies are soft.
- Add the egg and crush the shell into small pieces. Cook for 2 minutes and stir through the goat stew mixture.
- Remove from heat. Once cool, add the kelp powder. Stir well.
- Serve to wagging tails.
Substitutions
- Replace goat meat with lean lamb or beef
- Use butternut squash instead of sweet potato
- Swap zucchini for yellow squash
