Ingredients

Ingredients for Green Bean & Turkey Light Dog Dinner
  • 400 g lean ground turkey
  • 3 cups green beans, finely chopped
  • 1 cup carrot, finely diced
  • 1 cup water

Steps

  1. Brown the ground turkey in a dry pan until cooked through, then drain off any fat.
  2. Steam the green beans and carrot for 6 to 8 minutes, until just tender.
  3. Stir the vegetables into the turkey with the water and warm through.
  4. Cool to room temperature before serving.

Substitutions

  • Chopped zucchini in place of some of the green beans.
