Homemade Lamb Stew For Dogs

Ingredients

- 10.5 oz diced lamb
- 1.7 oz lamb heart
- 1 oz lamb liveror beef liver
- 1 oz lamb kidneyor beef kidney
- 1 oz butternut squash diced
- 1 oz sweet potato diced
- 1 oz green beans chopped
- 0.5 oz blueberries, chopped
- 2 teaspoons eggshell powder
- 1/4 teaspoon kelp
- 1 tablespoon fish oil
- 2 - 3 cups water
Steps
- Add the lamb cubes to a saucepan on a medium heat and gently brown them.
- Stir in the heart, liver and kidney.
- Add the butternut squash, sweet potato and green beans.
- Pour the water over the meat and vegetables ensuring that they are covered. Add more water for a soupier stew.
- Bring to a light boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
- Stir in the kelp, fish oil and eggshell powder.
- Scatter the chopped blueberries and serve to wagging tails.
Substitutions
- Use beef heart and liver instead of lamb organs.
- Swap butternut squash with pumpkin or carrots.
- Replace blueberries with diced cranberries.
