Ingredients for Homemade Pork Dog Food Recipe
  • 2 lbs ground pork
  • 4 oz pork liver or beef liver
  • 2 oz chicken giblets
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon hemp hearts
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin, cut into small chunks
  • 1/2 cup celery finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup zucchini grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Steps

  1. Heat the coconut oil in a large pan on a medium heat.
  2. Add the ground pork and cook for 8-10 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Add the liver and chicken giblets and cook for a further 4 minutes until cooked.
  4. Add the celery, pumpkin , zucchini, hemp hearts, chia seeds, turmeric, ginger, and eggs. Stir well and cover. Simmer for 7-10 minutes until the vegetables are cooked.
  5. Allow to cool before serving.

Substitutions

  • Substitute ground pork with ground beef or turkey.
  • Use flaxseeds instead of chia or hemp seeds.
  • Replace celery with finely chopped zucchini.
