Pork Apple Meatball Dog Treats
These savory meatballs blend ground pork with crisp apples and leafy spinach. They are baked into bite-sized portions perfect for training.

Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground pork
- 1 green apple
- 1 1/2 cups baby spinach
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200C/400F degrees and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Heat the coconut oil in a pan on a medium heat and cook the baby spinach for 3-5 minutes until wilted.
- Peel the apple and remove the seeds and core. Grate it.
- In a medium mixing bowl, add the spinach to ground pork, grated apple and parsley.
- Mix well with your hands (I wear gloves for this) and using a cookie scoop form into balls.
- Place the meatballs onto the prepared baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- Cool before serving.
- Prepare the meatballs and preheat the air fryer as per the manufacturers instructions.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basked with cooking oil and place the meatballs in the air fryer basket, in a single layer.

- Substitute spinach with finely chopped kale
