  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 2 oz liver, chopped into bite sized piecesbeef, pork or chicken
  • 3 oz sardines
  • 2 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 oz broccoli, chopped into small florets
  • 2 oz zucchini, chopped into bite sized pieces
  • 1 oz butternut squash puree
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Steps

  1. In a pan, heat a small amount of coconut oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground pork to the pan. Cook until browned and fully cooked through.
  3. Add the liver and cook through.
  4. Add the sardines (drained if using canned) to the pan and mix well.
  5. Stir in the ground flaxseed, ginger, and turmeric, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  6. Add the broccoli and zucchini to the pan, cooking until they are slightly softened but still retain some crunch.
  7. Stir in the butternut squash purée and let the mixture cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Let the meal cool to a safe temperature before serving it to your dog.

Substitutions

  • Use cauliflower instead of broccoli
