Ingredients

Ingredients for Puppy Egg & Rice Porridge
  • 1/2 cup white rice, uncooked
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp plain pumpkin puree

Steps

  1. Simmer the rice in the water for 20 minutes, until very soft and porridge-like.
  2. Beat the eggs, then stir them slowly into the hot rice.
  3. Cook 3 more minutes over low heat, stirring, until the egg is fully set.
  4. Stir in the pumpkin puree and cool to room temperature before serving.

Substitutions

  • Rolled oats instead of rice.
  • Mashed sweet potato instead of pumpkin.
