Salmon Sweet Potato Pupcakes

Ingredients
- 7.6 oz canned salmon in water
- 1/2 cup sweet potato puree
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups oat flour
- 1/4 cup sugar free apple sauce
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease with a bit of coconut oil or olive oil.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the canned salmon (including the liquid), sweet potato purée, applesauce and egg. Mix well to break up the salmon and combine everything evenly.
- Gradually mix in the oat flour, stirring until a thick batter forms. If the batter feels too dry, add a spoonful of water or a little more applesauce. If it's too wet, add a bit more oat flour.
- Spoon the batter into the muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and the tops are lightly golden.
- Let the pupcakes cool completely before serving to your dog.
Substitutions
- Swap sweet potato for pumpkin puree
- Use pear sauce instead of applesauce
