Ingredients

Ingredients for Senior Dog Egg & Cottage Cheese Bowl
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup plain low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup finely diced carrot
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Steps

  1. Simmer the carrot in a little water for 5 minutes, until soft, then drain it.
  2. Scramble the eggs in the olive oil until fully set with no runny egg left.
  3. Chop the scrambled egg small and mix it with the rice and carrot.
  4. Cool to room temperature, then fold the cottage cheese through and serve.

Substitutions

  • Cooked oats instead of rice.
  • Plain unsweetened yogurt instead of cottage cheese.
