Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup cranberries, fresh or frozen
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups oat flour
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the ground turkey, egg, cranberries and fresh parsley. Mix well.
- Add the oat flour and mix until the mixture starts to come together and work into a soft dough. Add more flour if required.
- Lightly flour a clean surface with oat flour. Roll out the dough to about ¼-inch thickness.
- Use cookie cutters (bone shapes are fun!) or simply cut into small squares or strips with a knife.
- Place the shapes on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the treats are firm and lightly golden.
- Allow the treats to cool completely on a wire rack before serving or storing.
Substitutions
- Dried cranberries can be used if they are unsweetened.
- Barley flour is a good alternative to oat flour.
