Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup grated sweet potato
- 1/2 cup grated apple
- 1/2 cup grated broccoli
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup oat flour
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, grated sweet potato, shredded apple, egg and broccoli rice,.
- Stir in the oat flour and ground flaxseed. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into small burger patties, about ½ inch thick. You can adjust the size based on your dog's preference.
- Place the patties on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until fully cooked and lightly golden.
- Let the turkey burgers cool completely before serving. You can serve them as is or break them into smaller pieces for easier chewing.
Substitutions
- Ground pork can be used in place of turkey.
- Grated pear can substitute for the apple.
