Turkey Pumpkin Dog Treats
These small bites feature almond flour and pumpkin for a grain-free treat option. Turmeric and cranberries add natural color and flavor.

Ingredients

- 16 oz ground turkey
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 large eggs
- 1/2 cup cranberries, fresh or sugar free dried
Steps
- Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix. If you are using fresh cranberries, pop them with a fork or sharp knife.
- Preheat the treat maker as per the manufacturers instructions.
- Lightly spray the surface of the treat maker with cooking oil.
- Spoon the turkey mixture into the bone shapes and close the lid.
- Cook for 5 minutes until golden and remove with silicone tongs.
- Allow to cool before serving.
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Form walnut shape balls from the mixture and place them on the baking tray. Lightly flatten them.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, and turn them over half way through cooking.

- Oat flour instead of almond flour
- Blueberries for cranberries
- Ground chicken for turkey
